These clips illustrate the ABF (Auto Back Focus) function using several different cameras.  ABF is especially important for use with mega pixel cameras because the ability to focus the picture properly is key to using the full functionality of the camera.  When using digital zoom, the slightest out of focus condition will create unuseable pictures.  In addition, many of the enhancement, such as facial recognition, also require proper focus.  The ability to initiate auto focus from a remote IP connection is also important if, for instance, the camera is mounted 15' off the ground on a pole or wall.

This clip shows the ABF in use on a standard (640 x 480) VGA camera.
